Trickbox TV is 10 years old! While we might be putting our big party plans aside for the near future, we still want to celebrate and reach out to all the brilliant people we’ve met along the way. It’s been a decade of hard work and big change for everyone, but we got many cool jobs out of it – many really cool jobs!

Imagine it’s 2010: Blockbuster goes bankrupt, David Cameron is made PM, and Dubai’s Burj Khalifa skyscraper becomes the world’s tallest building. Meanwhile, iPad’s are launched, Instagram is launched, and from Trickbox Founder Liam Laminman’s front room: Trickbox takes off!

We started by providing multi-camera solutions for broadcast projects, then we found our own space hosting shoots in Tower Bridge TV Studios (with our iconic city view!), we even offered live streaming back when it was a new idea. Since lockdown we’ve been working on a new schedule of virtual events for fintech webinars, art exhibitors and charity quizzes; there’s never a dull moment in broadcasting – what could be next?

Priding ourselves on adaptability, we’ve worked in some weird and wonderful places including beaches, caves, moving trains, and planes! You name it really, we love a challenge. As a team we’ve been looking back at some of our favourite jobs, and we’ve done all sorts, but perhaps had the most fun when people come to us with challenging ideas.

There have been some tough times, but from starting in the wake of a global financial crisis to celebrating 10 years mid-global pandemic, Trickbox always finds a way to keep business rolling. We couldn’t dream of doing this without such wonderful team members, crew, clients, and suppliers – old and new!

Thank you all for sticking with us, and we hope to see you all very soon. When we feel ‘normal life’ has resumed we’ll be planning a big 10 year Trickbox party, so hold out for that. In the meantime, please get in touch with your favourite Trickbox memories, we’d love to hear from you!
